Commander Cody is the Commander (of course) of the 212th Attack Battalion of the Grand Army of the Republic. He often serves alongside Jedi Obi Wan Kenobi. He can be identified by the orange markings of his Phase II clone armor (Later in the Clone Wars) with an antenna on the right side of his helmet and an orange visor, as seen as on the image above. He is most famous for his main character role in The Clone Wars show, but has also appeared in many other star wars related media, such as the prequel trilogy, The Bad Batch, etc.
During the Star Wars prequel movies episode III, he makes a few small appearances, almost exclusively next to Obi Wan Kenobi, the jedi he serves under. His most famous scene in the movie is where he handed Obi Wan's dropped lightsaber back to him, before ordering his artillery to fire the jedi and his Boga. Unfortunately, he is then never seen again in any movie, which is a shame since he would have been a great character to put more emphasis on.
In the 2008 Clone wars animated series, Commander Cody shows up a lot more often. He is one of the centerpieces of the story and a main character (he is also like this in the 2003 series). Instead of the lifeless, command obeying soldier that is shown on screen, in the series, he is given more life, with many scenes with his helmet off, more admiration towards his Jedi counterparts, and more humanity towards regular civillians of the Republic. Additionally, in the show, he has bonds with his fellow clones, showing lots of teamwork with his counterpart in Anakin's 501st clone legion, Captain Rex. In the Clone Wars spin off-Bad batch, after the Empire replaces the republic, Commander Cody deserts the clone army after seeing the Empires oppression. He is promptly never seen again on any show or movie.
